KARACHI: Gold touched Rs1,285 to close at Rs49,628 per 10 grams on Thursday.
According to the Karachi Saraf Association, the price of tola (11.664 grams) also increased by Rs1,500 to reach Rs57,900.
On Wednesday, gold slipped by Rs214 to close at Rs48,343 per 10 grams in the local market while its international price dropped to $1,659 an ounce, market sources said.
According to the Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also decreased by Rs 200 to Rs 56,400 during the day.
Silver closed lower at Rs 882.85 per 10 grams.
